Sydney Harold Osborne Wilshire (Doley) a bank clerk of Deniliquin, New South Wales enlisted in the A.I.F. aged 24, 26 Feb. 1915, embarked on HMAT Ulysses 8 May 1915 and served with the 13th Field Artillery Brigade in Egypt and France. He was killed in action at Ypres, 31 July 1917.
